Information Evening

Athy College held an Information Evening in the Clanard Court hotel with presentations on several aspects of the new building. Enrolments for next year and future years were taken on the night. The dining room was filled to capacity with intending students, parents and teachers.

All Fired Up

Fire Officer Ben Woodhouse spoke with some first year students to give them detail of the new Fire Cadet programme which is to be introduced at Athy Fire Station. Some 12 young people will be selected to participate in this programme which is a very exciting opportunity for students

The Mooney Show recorded interviews from the new school site on Fri last to report on progress on the building project. Derek Mooney has followed the campaign for the new school on his radio programme and on Friday Brenda Donoghue recorded interviews with Richard Daly, Principal; Michael and Marcella Moore, parents and Laima Liepinyte, student.
